Kiwi (MacDep24h) · Last updated: July 17, 2026
Kiwi (“Kiwi”, “MacDep24h”, “we”, “us”) provides a VPN and a built‑in web browser. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By using our app you agree to this policy.
If you create an account with email/password, we collect your email address and a display name. If you use the app as a guest, we create an anonymous account identified by an app‑generated ID (see below) instead of an email.
When you connect, we detect your country/region from your IP address to select an appropriate server and operate the service. We do not use precise/GPS location.
We collect app‑activity and analytics events (for example, screens opened, connect/disconnect events, rewards earned) and crash/diagnostic reports to keep the service reliable and improve it.
In‑app purchases (premium, points, ad‑removal) are processed by Google Play Billing. We receive the purchase status to unlock your entitlement; we do not receive or store your full payment card details.
We do not sell your personal information.
We use trusted service providers who process data on our behalf for the purposes above:
These partners may process identifiers (such as the advertising ID), device information, approximate location, and app‑activity data as described in their own policies. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Kiwi includes a web browser. Your browsing history, bookmarks, cookies, cache, downloads, and any form or login data you save are stored locally on your device — we do not collect them or send them to our servers. You can clear this data at any time from the browser settings, or use Private Browsing to avoid saving it.
When you visit websites through the browser, those sites are operated by third parties with their own privacy practices; they may set cookies and collect information as described in their own policies. Websites may also request access to device features (such as location, camera, or microphone) — these are granted only with your permission and are not collected by us. If you install browser extensions (add-ons), they may access your browsing data according to their own permissions.
When you connect, your traffic is routed through and encrypted to our VPN servers. To let you choose which apps use the VPN (per-app / split-tunnel mode), the app may read the list of apps installed on your device; this list is used only to show your choices and stays on your device — it is not sent to us.
We keep account and usage data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, then delete or anonymise it. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we use reasonable measures to protect your information.
You can delete your account and associated data at any time:
We permanently delete your account, points, invite code, and associated personal data, keeping only what is legally required for a limited period.
Kiwi is a general‑audience app and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your personal information, or to request a copy. To exercise these rights, contact [email protected].
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
If you have any questions about this policy or your data, email us at [email protected].
